How It Works
A built-in PIR motion sensor covers a 110-degree field of view and detects movement up to 30 feet away. When triggered, the device releases ultrasound bursts lasting 2.5 seconds to discourage raccoons and other pests. It runs on solar power and remains in standby until activity is detected.
The device is safe for humans and non-toxic. Its sealed housing is waterproof, windproof, UV resistant, and rustproof, making it suitable for all-weather outdoor use. Placement options include grounding into soil or mounting on a roof, and it should be aimed from the direction the animals typically approach to maximize effectiveness.
To ensure optimal sun exposure, remove the clear protective film from the top of the solar panel. Do not cover the PIR sensor, and choose a location where the solar panel can receive as much sunlight as possible.
