Take the guesswork out of drilling with the Svulp Drill Locator, engineered to produce cleaner, straighter holes with higher accuracy in any workshop. This setup uses a 1/4 inch hexagonal shaft that integrates smoothly with most cordless drills, corded drills, and impact drivers. A keyed chuck, paired with a tapered depth-control shaft and a limit ring, combines with a spring return and a reversible chuck bracket for versatile operation.

Built to help you stay on line from start to finish, the locator includes a built‑in V-groove, alignment guides, and an adjustable fence that keeps drill alignment consistent. The chuck carrier travels along stainless steel columns with Teflon sleeves for smooth motion, and one column features a machined tapered flat to secure the stop collar during use.

This system supports a 1 inch drill bit capacity, and if the chuck is removed and reversed, it accepts bits up to 2 inches wide. A V-groove in the base assists centered drilling for round stock, such as wood dowels, improving symmetry and precise hole placement for dowel joints.

Two centered pins stow on the board when not in use; they thread into the bottom of the base and can be tightened with one of the column caps, which includes a built‑in hex bit. The fence attaches to any of the four sides of the square base, can be oriented in multiple ways, and references against the edge of the board. It can be reversed for extended range, and it rotates to simplify drilling on vertical boards; on large surfaces like plywood it can function as a leg to provide extra support.

The design emphasizes robust construction: the chuck carrier glides on stainless steel columns with Teflon sleeves, and one column’s machined tapered flat keeps the stop collar firmly in place during use. The hex bit required to install the centering pins is built into the underside of the column caps, enabling quick setup and adjustments. The included fence adds substantial versatility, enabling precise edge referencing and multi‑orientation use for a range of drilling tasks. The unit is manufactured in the United States to support maximum usefulness, versatility, and quality.
